Chicago Baseball and Educational Academy (CBEA) is dedicated to providing high quality baseball and softball opportunities to Chicago youth who may not otherwise have access. To accomplish this, CBEA shares its resources with a strong network of local leagues and community organizations. Together, we empower Chicago youth to dream big.

CBEA has updated its Community Partner Program to more closely reflect its founding values. CBEA will prioritize partner organizations that:

  • provide high quality, affordable, and inclusive baseball or softball programming to Chicago youth, ages 8 - 18
  • operate in under-resourced communities in the City of Chicago*
  • are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as non-profit organizations
  • maintain proof of current liability insurance coverage on file with CBEA

All participants in the CBEA Community Partner Program must complete this survey in order to access Community Partner Benefits.

CBEA defines under-resourced communities using CMAP data for the City of Chicago, focusing on Community Areas that over-index to the City as a whole for Race and Ethnicity (Black, Hispanic or Latino) or Educational Attainment (High School Diploma or Equivalent, Less than High School Diploma), or under-index for Median Household Income.
