CBEA Winter 2026 Baseball Camps for 8 - 10 year-olds

TIME: Check-in begins at 6:15 p.m. Camp begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: UIC's Physical Education Building (PEB), at 901 W. Roosevelt Road in Chicago.

COST: $20 covers all four sessions. No child will be denied participation due to financial barriers. Please email info@cbeauic.org  to request a discount or fee waiver if needed.

WHAT: The Chicago Baseball and Educational Academy (CBEA) continues its partnership with UIC Flames Baseball to provide quality baseball instruction to Chicago youth. UIC Flames players and coaches will serve as camp instructors, leading hitting and fielding drills designed for young players. The camp curriculum also includes a player-centered social-emotional learning module, focusing on goal-setting, confidence-building, calming strategies and more.

Children who are 8, 9 or 10 years-old on the first day of camp are invited to register. Each player should bring their own glove and hydration, and come ready to play. Players must wear gym shoes or turf shoes (no cleats of any kind are allowed). Registration is required and capacity is limited.
